Turning a page and closing a chapter

With the end of 2023, this blog comes to a close. Thank you for following Daughters of the Dream.

I hope new information was revealed, you were prompted to reflect on the world from a different vantage point, and you have chosen to change how you see others and how you show up in this racially diverse world. We need your voice and we need you to act. Remember: reveal, reflect, recalibrate.

Stay tuned.  My voice may show up again from time to time.

  2. thank you ofr your insights and perspective. Had my family not moved from Richmond when I was in 8th Grade at Chandler Jr High, we would have been classmates at John Marshall. I spent 1st thru 3rd grade on Edgewood Avenue likely wihtin 2 blocks of your home and have followed your writings since reading your entry about growing up on Edgewood. Such parallels and differences ! Thank you again, it has been very enlightening.
